FABRIC

Fostering Accessible Best practices in Restoration & Innovation for Collections

Textile heritage is fading. Together, we are preserving it - through digital innovation, community workshops, and cross-border collaboration.

EUROPEAN HERITAGE

Preserving Fabric Collections

FABRIC is a 30-month Erasmus+ cooperation partnership bringing together six organisations from Poland, Estonia, Romania, France, and the Czech Republic. Our shared mission is to protect and revitalize textile cultural heritage — not just behind museum glass, but in the hands of communities, educators, and future generations.

We believe preservation is everyone’s responsibility. Through digitisation training, multigenerational craft workshops, and open-access resources, FABRIC bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern digital tools — making cultural heritage more accessible, more sustainable, and more alive.
